Day 306: Late Again

Better late than never. I didn’t get a chance to do the walk until after I picked up kids from school.

#tommw 42F breezy, scattered clouds.

That incident with the flower really has *GOT* to make it into one of your stories sooner or later.

Interesting talk on doing the work and grading. Maybe you should play teacher and student with yourself, set up homework and deadlines and give zeros if you don’t do it. No, on a more serious note, I remember my daughter getting her teaching certificates (already graduated from college-decided to teach later) and commenting that she could not believe that upcoming English teachers would not read the book or essay assignments for their own Eng. classes and wondering why they flunked the quizzes and tests. This is college material? Where is their brain? Just wondering——
PS She teaches French, too. Her degree is in French. Dislikes the idea of going for the certificate as an undergrad. Says you don’t know enough French to teach it. I think that happens too often.
