It was ridiculously hot yesterday–103F–so the overnight atmospheric cooling jacked the relative humidity through the roof this morning. Already 70F when I started walking and it only got warmer.

A bit off topic, but how did you imagine the shape of the welk shell used on welkies? I’m thinking you don’t actually mean heart shaped, so I’m guessing either round, or perhaps a smoothed and rounded version of the shell fragment?
Oh yes, this is something I always wondered. My partner and I both have welkies but they are currently heartless… Mine still travels with me on all planes and boats… sad, I know 🙂
