We had a tornado and serious hail last night. Some minor flooding in the basement. I’ll need to clear out gutters today.

Here in Louisiana, it’s a common belief that the air in general takes on a general green cast when there is a strong chance for tornados. A lot of the energy of the sound from tornados is in the infra-sound range, so yes, the directionality is very hard to determine.
I really am glad you didn’t get hit directly though!
