There’s something weird going on with the site at nathanlowell.com
If you go there, sometimes you get a completely blank page. Sometimes you see the page that’s supposed to be there. It comes and goes without making any changes on my end.
If you go to nathanlowell.org you see the website for nathanlowell.com … and you shouldn’t because the wordpress database points to .com explicitly. It shouldn’t be happening, but it is
And I have no idea why.
(Yes, I’ve checked .htaccess.)
It’s been going on for a week or so and it’s maddening.
Yep,
For me nathanlowell.com is a blank page, nathanlowell.org gets you there.
Pages are all off nathanlowell.org e.g. this response page is:
http://www.nathanlowell.org/tommw/podcast/nathanlowell-com/#respond
Silly question but is your index.htm /php /asp where it is supposed to be?
Browser dependent? Comes up just fine in Safari, not at all in IE. I’ll see what Firefox does later.
The main page for nathanlowell.com shows this for source:
==================
==============
I looked at nathanlowell.com/blog/ and the source on that shows an actual page. You might try editing the main page. Can you do that with Word Press. I think it uses a data base to hold the info and then generates it as needed. If that is the case, you probably won’t have much there when you proceed to edit it.
Are the .org and the .com sites the same? I ask, because I usually go to tommw using .org, but I see there is also a nathanlowell.com/tommw. I have it bookmarked with .org.
Oh, nice, that source doesn’t show up.
It is:

end html tag

Comes up fine in Safari on an iPad, does not come up at all in IE9 or Firefox 24. (And, yes, I forced a refresh in Safari, so it’s not coming up with cache.)
Chrome shortcut to http://www.nathanlowell.org/tommw/ works fine.
On the laptop with a not so current IE, the .com site does not come up and is a blank page. The .org page loads slowly but is all there.
On my nifty Samsung Galaxy Note III. Both sites come up, no problem.
