Nathan, I had a similar problem with Ready player one. I attempted to read it on 3 occasions and never got passed his rant about how kids had been lied to and God is dead etc. I was then in formed by a good friend that I was doing it wrong. Ready player one is one of those few books that is best as an audio book. I listened to the Wil Weaton version. It’s now one of my favorite books and I have relisted to it 4 times now. Just a thought you might give it a try like this. Most libraries still have audio books for a free option.
