That was a beautiful picture this morning, Nathan.
It would have been a shame to miss the snow.
Living in San Antonio, Texas, snow is something I really miss after moving from Kentucky. About 13 years ago, someone sneezed and the flakes almost covered the windshields before melting a few minutes later. This was late at night and family and friends were calling to wake someone up. “It’s snowing!” I believe most people refer to it as the ‘blizzard.’ 🙂
This reminds of a quote from the cinematic master piece “Major League II”:
“We won a game yesterday, if we win one today that’s two in a row. If we win one tomorrow that’s called a winning streak.”
You lucky guy! Snow at Christmas!
Yesterday here in Indiana we had several inches of rain and sixty mile per hour winds. I was at Krogers picking up the crown roast when a fellow ran in an said “Hey, a tornado is coming up the street!” He was right too. “One damned thing after another”, says I, “and how do I get to the meat locker?” No one was injured, but a few roofs departed the area.
Have a great holiday!

The only thing better than a walk while it’s snowing is one after dark with big wet flakes making it very quiet.
