This morning I thought about the visibility of this podcast and whether or not I wanted it to have a higher profile. Near the end of the walk, two large birds – which I believe were long trailed hawks – buzzed me. Beautiful birds.

1) As you note – who has a daily (and you’re more daily than most, actually) podcast where they ramble about mostly nothing? Well, actually, it’s interesting to see how much *something* you ramble about when you’re rambling about nothing.
2) Art in the Golden Age – while perhaps you haven’t discussed traditional painting/sculpture/literature/etc. – it certainly seems in the first 3 books (and to a lesser extent, in the later books), you certainly seem to address the art of fashion and how it affects the way people interact.
3) The first time you said it, I thought the title of the Odin’s Outpost novella was “Riding The Darkness”, which struck me as somewhat appropriate. However, any port in the deep dark.
