I’m at almost 104,000 words and the story is this close to being done.
I haven’t walked because I haven’t wanted to take the time away from pushing this through to the end. I thought I might make it out this morning — and it’s still possible — but it’ll depend on what other less negotiable interruptions pop up between now and noon.

I’ve been thinking that taking the walk without the talking and posting and picture might be easier. Now and then you could do a talk and surprise us. Main thing is doing that walk, right? Maybe it’s time for a transition. Do you really need us to get you out there? Would it actually make the walk more easy to do if you didn’t have to document it? And maybe the quiet thinking would be helpful. It all depends on what you get out of the process. That’s the main thing.
Way to go on the writing, by the way!
I actually enjoy the talking. Even on days when I wind up not saying much.
These last few days have been hard because I’ve had events that interrupted my walk times, broke into my writing time, and I needed to keep the pressure up in order to hit my 5k incremental goals. Some days it took until 10:30 or 11:00 pm to get them and I’m trying to get my sleep patterns under control.
I’m so close to the end…
Hoping for a Christmas present! Keep writing!!
