Just fan mail. Much enjoyed your Trader’s Tales series and, more recently, The Wizard’s Butler. Now I’ve discovered your walking blog with the happy result of increased productivity at the loom. Tried listening to audiobooks while weaving but found I would just sit there and listen. Music doesn’t always occupy my brain enough to slow it down to focus. Your blog is just right – occupying enough of my brain to slow my thoughts down and keep me present. Also, excellent voice and interesting insights into a field about which I know little. Happy to see there’s an archive of your blogs to mine as I now weave in two- or three-blog sessions. Wonder what a pandemic would look like in Ismael’s universe.
