Random idea for the next conference. Look at your travel/hotel budget and buy equivalent services to give you time to focus on the conference. Delivery meals, housekeeping services, etc. Since all conferences really happen in the bar after the daily events, have a zoom “pub crawl” where everyone invites one friend and one “hoped for” friend. Someone who’s work you’ve admired, but not yet met. We’re all having to get creative in the Corona world.
