I’m having a hard time understanding your support problems with LOTRO – – it sounds as if you have created two different accounts, which would account for having to re-purchase expansions, etc. Do you have more than one username/password login for the game? Do you still remember them? If so, download the game and try to log on – – you should be able to play free, although some of the nice features will be denied to you until you subscribe. If you’ve been away for a while there are some new player races/classes you can try out: Beornings, which are shapeshifters (to bear form); High Elves (elves who either made the journey to Valinor or their descendants); and “Stout-Axe Dwarves” – – these last are not part of Tolkien canon, but were made up of whole cloth by the game developers – – they are a dwarven tribe that were originally allied with Sauron, but found that, like the Mafia, one doesn’t leave such an alliance – – they are now enslaved, their smithing skills exploited by the Dark Lord to provide arms and armor for his armies.
Classes in LOTRO you might not have seen include Wardens and Rune-Keepers. Wardens are a ranged/melee class, using spear/javelin instead of the usual bows. Rune-Keepers were developed to give Dwarves an opportunity to cast spells – – the RK can cast both damage and healing spells using a “runestone,” with different stones giving different focuses – – fire, lightning, or healing. Rune-Keepers and Wardens can be played by several, but not all, of the player races.
