On this last 3-day in January, I can report that I got my 40 miles this month. I might make 42 with a walk outside tomorrow if tomorrow isn’t crappy.
The thing is that walking is the point. Getting my ass moving regularly and keeping up my balance and muscle mass so when the weather starts back toward spring instead of freezing, I’ll be ready to walk outside.
I’m honestly looking forward to “touching grass” as the kids used to say, but in the meantime, I’ve got the treadmill to keep my strength up.
