Not much to say today. Talked more about Kingsolver’s Rosie O’Grady series, a bit about Shackleford House, and a few words about my experiments with GOG and Banished to see how far off the path I can get. At the moment, I’m rather tied to Steam for Enshrouded and the rest of my main gaming fixes, but that might change.

Talked more about the Kingsolver Rosie O’Grady series, some about Roger and writing. Probably some other stuff that I’ve forgotten because I got sidetracked looking up Tim Sample on the internet. There are times I really miss Maine.

I really needed the walk this morning. I woke up just after 4am and managed to get out very close to sunrise. It’ll be easier to do once we get a bit more distance from the equinox.
Talked about the Lightning War series again and the new read, B R Kinsolver’s Shadow Hunter (Rosie O’Grady’s Paranormal Bar and Grill). I think the “Bar and Grill” series title is what hooked me because this is so far off my normal reading table that I feel like I’m reading over the sink in the kitchen, but it’s fun so far and I’m liking it.
Also talked about reading Butler alongside Cat. I’ve been spending hours a day on it for the last week. It feels good and I’m excited for it again. Finally.
