The solstice occurred last night at 8:42 PM MDT. An auspicious time to get back into the groove. The days will be getting hotter as the season goes on (and it was 100F yesterday), but the sunrise will be getting later, slowly at first but closer to where I an walk in it.
Talked about lessons from my father, my current read (Cássio Ferreira, Handyman, book 1 of Hidden Class), and the state of summer. Met one of my familiar faces on the path and it felt good.
I forgot to fix the settings for airplane mode, etc, so there may be some artifacts. Sorry. I have to retrain myself…
