New mic. Same old set up. It should be back to “normal” for some definition of the word. Windy out there this morning and some of it snuck in around the wind filter on the mic.

The neighbor delivered the missing mic yesterday afternoon. I got back out there this morning but when I went to turn on the recorder? Dead battery.
Still, I got in a nice walk.
The recorder is plugged into the charger now. I hear good things might happen tomorrow.
Apparently, I’ve been hit again by porch pirates. First was a pen. Now it’s the mic that I need to continue the podcast.
I thought it was due so I checked the shipment status. It was allegedly delivered without fanfare to my (locked) mailbox at 7:45PM last Monday! I’m pretty sure that package wouldn’t fit in my letterbox so more likely it was left on the stoop where we’d be unlikely to find it in the evening, since who delivers after dark?
Sigh.
I’ve re-ordered it. I’ll keep a closer eye on deliveries from now on.
