Rain and thundershowers in the forecast for today. Everything is soggy. It’s good for my lawn, assuming it doesn’t drown it, but not so good for rambling around the neighborhood. Maybe tomorrow.

I haven’t heard how it might have helped dampen the fires but every little bit helps. The bigger effect came with cleaner, cooler air. It’s still pretty drizzly out there but this bodes well for tomorrow.

The Alexander Mountain fire keeps burning. The air’s a little clearer this morning but the rising sun looked like a glowing ember. I’m still laying low, going outside as little as possible.
