We got an early slot for my Spousal Unit’s surgery. We’re off to see the wizard…

A lovely morning and I’m glad I got out early. I talked about the week ahead, poolish bread, and rye flour. ETA: I lied. Surgery and follow up tomorrow and Wednesday.

Perfect weather for a walk this morning. Mid-sixties. A bit of breeze. Early enough that I found a lot of shade. Talked about prairie grasses and Jenny Schwartz’s Delphic Dame series this morning. Among other things.
