Day 1978: Never Dull

Distracted, yes. But things are never dull around here.

I talked about the eye doctor…remember yesterday?

One Response to Day 1978: Never Dull

  1. Dan Thompson says:

The whole distance learning thing reminds me of how factories converted to electric power rather than steam power. Old factories used a steam engine to turn a central shaft and then distribute that mechanical power through the building using belts and gears. When they first switched to electricity they just used an electric motor to drive the same kind of belt & gear system. Only later did they see it was better to distribute the power as electricity and then drive small electric motors at each work station. Teachers are trying to use internet tools to drive the equivalent of those old belts and gears.
