NovelRama has come to a close. We’ll do it again in six months. I think this might have been the largest cohort yet with over 75 people joining the party, even if they only lurked on the edges. I was right about the story yesterday, btw. It was the wrong story.

Suggestion … When you take off and put away your walking boots, lay a clean handkerchief across them. At worst, it will cost you 7 handkerchiefs in the weekly laundry.
Works better if I just put a handkerchief in my pocket.
My “walking boots” are my normal footwear so “put away” is less of an event than you might think. I put the on and take the off a half dozen times a day.
