Something is seriously screwed up with this mic set-up. In spite of listening to a delightful podcast while I walked along, when it came time to record, apparently the headset wasn’t plugged in firmly and was not recording the mic. I suspect that because there was a lot of crackling and the audio became muffled when I put the phone in my pocket — and cleared up again after I took it out. <\/p>\n

I’ll try to remember to talk about it again tomorrow but what I’ve got now isn’t listenable–the pops are painful and the voice is too faint to hear for 95% of it.<\/p>\n
