I remember you commenting one time on a book being pushed as “with over 500 5-Star Amazon Reviews”, and how that recommendation held little weight with you. I found a similar sales push common-place that I find myself questioning … “Described as Stephen King meets X-men or Star Wars meets Jason Bourne” – I find myself asking *WHO* is doing the describing as??? After all, you have four separate major genres there – horror, comic book superhero, sci-fantasy/fairy tale, and espionage techno-thriller. Am I supposed to see any color in that than the muddy brown I used to get mixing red, yellow, green, and blue paint?

I saw that and immediately placed it on the DNR.E list.
