I finished the first draft of Resolve – Book 1 in the Seeker’s Tales – last night. I talked a bit about that this morning and then more about this social media book that has me shaking my head and waiting for the author to make a significant point.
Honestly, I don’t know why it bugs me enough to even finish reading it. It’s like a trainwreck and I can’t look away.

Congrats on the completion, take some time to play, you have worked hard to get this latest book going. Cannot wait for the opportunity to read it, either as a Beta reader and again when it comes out in print.
Nathan, I was about to post and realized that Bill said exactly what I’d planned to. So thanks Bill for putting your post up, and I’ll just add a big ditto to what he said.
Great news!
2 things Ish thought he’d never do again: start a company and captain a ship? And the third is, what, fall in love again? Can’t wait to throw my money at you 🙂

I have to question your assertion that e-mail is not social media, unless you’re counting mailing lists as a separate phenomena. I grew up on Fight-O-Net and such, and I see little difference between e-mail and so-called “instant messaging”. Most of the social media sites just seem me to be ugly overlays on the beauty of the well-managed e-mail account with messages being sorted into appropriate folders.
I have no argument with that.
I tend to look at email in the same light as telephone and party lines of the 50s were certainly the social media of the day 🙂
Pit Bulls vs Aliens was a train wreck too. I mean I didn’t expect much, but there were dogs, evil aliens, a pretty cool book cover. It went into a dive and massive fireball fast but I couldn’t stop.
