Day 1018: Feedback

Thank you!

I talked about the beta reader feedback today. It always surprises me the details that get picked up — which is why having beta readers is a good idea. So far nobody has picked up the same detail, but I’m certainly considering all of the “what happened to…?” questions. I talked about that today. If I didn’t say it enough, “THANK YOU!”

I’m also cutting off new Beta readers as of this morning. If you asked for a copy and didn’t get one, let me know.

A good walk, a good talk, Nathan. There are the usual questions that I know I have to wait for the stories to e read to answered. But, I find myself saying this, or bust a gut, sponge guy #1, I know who I think I’d like him to be. But I’ll wait, and wonder about it until then.

I’m really, really glad to have Ishmael and Pip and the others back, they’re like old friends the way you write them, people you miss when they’re not around.

Your yellow jacket problem. I’ve been waiting for you to figure it out, but I’m getting more concerned with your getting stung, maybe even in an eye. My father used to mow a 40 acre cemetery. Ever yellow jack nest he’d run across, come nightfall and coolness when they were in their hole he’d pour gasoline down the hole and leave it be. No flames! Let the gas fumes do the work to kill them off.

Please be careful. And if stung remove the stinger they leave behind, and we used plain baking soda to ease the pain and reduce the swelling of the ew we were stung with.

It’s a go from me and I really love the story so far
