Yeah. I talked about it again. I’ve already pulled my books.

Personally I can agree with wanting to go back to exclusively Amazon as that seems to be the biggest market as far as ebooks are. I own a Nook that I had won in a raffle and I love the device (fairly easy to use, lightweight, easy on the eyes when reading), but it does seem that the majority of indie authors use Amazon. It does just seem like a much more indie friendly environment overall as well. And if you sell more books in a month than you do in a year on another platform economically it just doesn’t make sense. Especially if you are paying fees to keep your books listed in those other formats (not sure if you actually are, but would suck if you needed to).

And for the physical books I agree that paperbacks are pretty “eh” as far as books go. I prefer hardcover. I’m really glad I was able to snag a hardcover of Quarter Share when you were still with Ridan, if anything to say I have a signed copy. 🙂 I understand doing hardcovers is a bit more difficult as an Indie author but if you ever do hard covers of your books again I would definitely buy them.

And glad to hear your irrigation system is finally working. I can imagine that was pretty frustrating. I know that’s been a subject the past week or so on your morning walks. 😀

    More screechy fiddle music!

    It always made me happy.

Thanks for remembering me. It went well and I’m “clean” this time and good for 10 years. I do like all the music you have used so far in podiobooks. I’d probably go to them again and leave a donation, because I also want to support them.

I ditched B&N a couple years ago, because they were giving such awful support that I felt like they were TRYING to go out of business in the ebook department. Sadly I had recommended them to friends because I was so against the Amazon proprietary format.

As for your books, you don’t use DRM if I remember right. It HAS been a long time, Dear Heart… With no DRM, an installation of calibre in either Linux or Windows will give a perfect conversion to epub. With DRM it’s a bit trickier. 😉 calibre is really a great way to organize ebooks and I recommend it just for that purpose.

Lol! I actually like the music! (Though I could do without the intros, and would prefer a more standard format.) But, I can’t remember the last time I went over to Podiobooks. 🙁
I’m kind of surprised to hear that people were earning so little from Audible.

I liked the music on the podiobooks, but the repetitive intros did get rather tedious.
