    Nathan sounds like the story will take off once you get a toe-hold on the direction that the story about toe-hold space needs to follow. 🙂 sorry could not resist the play on words.

    If you already have the story for seekers tale 2. Maybe you should write that and let the ideas for smugglers tale 1 develop in the back of your mind while you work.

    I often find if I’m stuck on a problem, that if I go away and do something else, the answer will come to me, when I stop worrying at the issue.
