Day 1049: Pretty Thursday

It was a lovely morning out there today. I talked about the release. Again.

And about making myself sit down and pound out some words today.

This may have be addressed/discussed elsewhere, but can you get Amazon to list the Share Books and Ashes as part of the Solar Clipper-verse? I know when I wandered into the Enderverse, the Amazon notations (separate series, same universe) were helpful for a novice reader. Look, it’s not hard to figure out from the titles, covers, and your author page, I was just curious.

By the way, I found Quarter Share based on an Amazon also bought in 2010, and only when wandering the interwebs trying to figure out what else you might have written did I find Podiobooks and your other works.

Amazon has a “series” field – which they honor.

They don’t have a “universe” field.

That’s why all the books set in that universe are labeled as “…from the Golden Age of the Solar Clipper” with the series designator “Trader’s Tale,” “Shaman’s Tale,” and “Seeker’s Tale” prefixes.

I don’t know how to make it any clearer.

I have got to sit up a food place on your morning walks. I could build a nice nest egg on you as my only customer. 😉

I’m typing as I listen to the podcast.

If you’re having trouble a remembering thing, talk to your doc., The last time I saw mine a few days ago, she decided I was Manic, crap, it’s been only a few days and I’m can’t hardly recall where the keys are on the keyboard.

Your speaking is good, don’t get me wrong. But think about it, the words and having a difficult time recalling stuff; plus all that’s going on in your life that could be part of the issues?

I’m not a stalker. 🙂 But if you needed a temp staff help, I’d work, cheap, for free even. Just to help you out, ’til things settled again for you. Remember your own words , two people make for short work, or such you said in the Clipper series.

Hang in there. All your fans out here are cheering for you.

Yeah, I’m suffering what’s called “cognitive fogging.” It’s like brain cloud only real.

In times of stress and when a variety of stressors pile up, it botches up my recall. Between the ADD, no sleep (because the kid is up late for rehearsal and I’m up early to get her to school and get my walk in), the new release, and a bunch of other stuff I can’t really talk about (not my story to tell), I’m stretched pretty thin these days.

It *is* something I discuss regularly with my therapist.

  3. Jamie Wyrick says:

Understand, sir. I’m retired 61 years old, so ain’t looking for a man, got my own spouse. 🙂

But damn, if I wasn’t living here in San Antonio, Texas, just being a good neighbor, I’d help you.

I understand more what you’re going through, than a person should be having to. 🙁

Don’t know what phone gadget you have, but my iPhone has a grocery gadget on it, take a look at some of them, might help you, wife and any kids that want something they can effectively add their groceries to the list. Spouse and I are synced with Grocery Gadget.

    Take care.

Nathan, really wished I could help you out of that deep well, your in, sir. You’ve a host of faithful people that would come to your aid if we could.

    Jamie
