After yesterday’s lovely start, by noon it was snowing and 30F. The day was a ragged one and I should have made chicken soup instead of calling for pizza.
C’est la guerre.
Today’s ramble is about my lack of descriptive prose. Among other things.

Personally, I’ve haven’t found your writing to lack description. There’s enough of a framework that the blanks just fill themselves in. My brain provides very clear images of the story, but I’ve always been accused of having an overactive imagination. Disclaimer: My writing has been accused of the same, and I tend to skim long passages of frippery when I read. Perhaps description is like Cookie’s seasonings. There’s a range of what’s tasty and works well, but there will always be someone who thinks it’s too much or not enough.
