Thanks for taking the time to address my question about Dorion directly :-). It makes a certain kind of sense. You don’t know what you don’t know. I guess I just always expect people to be smarter than they actually are (that includes real life). I wish you luck getting out to walk tomorrow :).
Yeah, I never had an issue with Dorion’s lack of awareness. Remember, he’s a comms engineering *manager*. Probably with impeccable academic creds, thanks to the wonderful HR staff. π
And there’s another issue Nathan didn’t mention. Well…two, related. #1: what kinds of ships were being used, and what were they doing, in addition to the stuff related to the station? #2: who ran a big chunk of them?
NOTE: I’m not saying my other point was intended…it’s something that the story offers, eventually, for a very deep-background, behind the scenes explanation for why it’s going on.
It’s been a week.
Poke.
Thanks, Dan. I’m happy to see that you got results.

Oh crap.
I’m alive. Film — well — audio tomorrow.
Great news on the alive front. Looking forward to audio!
