So, yesterday I worked on a guest post from John Mierau for the Nathan Lowell Presents project. It got a little out of hand before the day was over…
Happy Birthday to my Cartographer in Chief, Paulette Jaxton. Map on! And thank you so much for your help.

Thank you, sar! I hope everyone is enjoying the next (rather longer) leg of your virtual journey.

Ok, I finally heard the name “Jaxton” enough that I looked her up and got her book. I can use a change of pace from murder mysteries. 🙂 Also had to get a sample of one of Mierau’s books after reading his blog post. 4 times a week I go to the gym and then the coffee shop. I like to sit with my ebook reader and have coffee. Today I forgot the reader and made a big switch. I read from a book of poems they had there. It was a big change of pace and quite beneficial. So, it’s good to see different reading choices and expand. I’m liking your blog experiment.
Oh, and I agree with you on the website look with all those pictures of you. Pictures of different things might work, or even of different people or places, but not all of the same person, place or thing.
Thanks, Anita 🙂
I’ve been wondering why you were so determined to change a creative process that has obviously been pretty successful in the past! I think you are wise to realize that the “2000-words-a-day-everyday” plan just doesn’t work for you. The “binge writing” thing reminds me irresistibly of the last slow days of a full-term pregnancy, though, as you wait for the baby to finish growing and be ready to face the world. Hopefully getting the words on paper won’t be as painful, or as messy, as the delivery of a new little person! (But all your impatient fans will greet the new book as happily as if it were a beautiful new baby! Or, maybe even more happily!)
Hello Sar the new page looks good but I’ve noticed your missing links to twitter and facebook, paypal donate.
I noticed a similar ‘spam’-block problem with the National Preparedness Month graphic on my sidebar. I had to delete the image and upload a new one with a sightly different name to get around the problem.
If it hadn’t been important to me that it be visible I would have probably not bothered.
