Yes, the U.S. Naval Academy is in Annapolis and yes the midshipmen are required (yes required) to learn how to sail everything from one masted dingies all the way up to large schooners during their four years here. It’s a long tradition and doesn’t seem to be waning at all in the 21st century. Most weekends, the Chesapeake Bay is filled with the familiar blue hulled boats from the Academy. I would be surprised if the cadets at Port Numar weren’t at least encouraged, if not required, to do some true sailing while there.
Hey you bragged on Twitter about the envy we should have of you because you were going to the Farmers Market to sample Sarabanda Dark. If we are going to have envy we at least deserve some feed back on how well you liked the coffee. I don’t think I missed any comment you may have made about.
I got 4 samples to try out. I’ve only been able to try the first one so far. I should be breaking open the second today.
