This morning was the first time somebody asked me what I was doing taking a picture at the same place every day. There’s even a beaten down place in the weeds where I go off the path to lean the phone against the sign post there. I wasn’t quick enough to say something clever. I just admitted to being a podcaster and that I post the picture every day when I publish it.
It was cool that I didn’t have to explain what a podcast is.
We’re making progress.

What can I say? Each morning, I wake up, I click to the terminal where I have the directory I store your podcasts in, up-arrow a couple of times to get to the last wget, and change the date. If it succeeds, another couple of up-arrows, change the date in the vlc command, and I’m listening to another day of introspection and analysis!
That was a lovely description of Samhain. Thank you, Nathan
Morning,
I really enjoyed your walk through of the old cycle of the year mythos this morning.
Like Tara Li, one of the first things I do once I am able is download your latest ramble on your ramble. Since I’m one time zone east of you it usually isn’t ready before I play dad taxi for ZenOne so I listen as part of my morning routine at the office.
Glad to hear you have got your new laptop mostly setup and working. Now all that remains is to start breaking in the key caps to fit your fingers. Just in case you are a little slow today I am talking about using it to start writing. LOL Try to have fun on your trip. Spend as much time with your sister/family as you can, that is the important thing. We will not like it much with no podcast for a few days but we will survive I hope. Hey maybe you could talk Debora, Paulette, or Brand or somebody to do a guest tommw while you are off visiting. That might be hard to pull off. LOL
Hearing you talk about the Wheel and Samhain was a delight. Thank you.
i receive your podcast in itunes which auto loads only your podcast into my audiobook app on my iphone, your talk is then just one click away. For a few months i did not know about your morning snapshot it was a bit of a mystery every time you talked about it. Did not know there was another way to find your podcast, i tried using feedler but i must navigate to the next page scroll down to the audio player and try to start the player without touching the map. if i touch the map i have to wait a while to try again half the time i am cursing the map because it takes up most of the screen, feedler gets the feed instantly whereas itunes has a delay sometmes half a day before your podcast shows up even when i click refresh, but itunes is still the easiest to use “just one click only” on audiobook and your poadcast auto starts each in sequence….
