It’s not like the weekends matter all that much in this house. Without a 9-5 day job, every day is loose. In spite of that a lifetime of Mondays makes me see them as a kind of new beginning.

I’ve had my roof replaced twice in the 22 years I’ve owned my house. Both times my home insurance company assessed my roof and said it needed to be replaced. I choose the company to replace the roof – a company used by my employer who owns about 160 different roofs. I’m not even polite to all of the other roofing companies.
