The weather for tomorrow looks ugly. I spent part of my morning doing some damage control for the irrigation system.

We fall back on November 3. Years ago they pushed it to after Halloween on the premise that it would make trick-or-treating safer since it could then be done in the lingering daylight hours. IMO, that’s one more bit of childhood that has been ruined, because for me a lot of the fun of trick-or-treating was that we were going out in the dark.
