The downside of breaking a streak is that it resets all the counters. I didn’t walk, didn’t write yesterday. I took a holiday. Now I have to get back in the groove. Again.
It’s okay. I’ve done it so often it kinda feels like starting a new play-through in a game, thinking I’m going to try a different play-style this time but within three levels I’m back in my comfort zone.
That’s not a bad thing.

I can absolutely relate to the impulse to smile and laugh amid a snowfall. It’s the first fall of the season (and *seriously* early to boot), so it’s an experience you haven’t had in 6 months or so. Wafting flakes drifting on the breeze is lovely… 🙂
Raccoon, huh? Couldn’t find ’em in Google, but it very much sounds like a solution in search of a problem. But y’know… it might also be that we’re not in the “target demographic”.
