I really need to pay better attention. I was thinking a few days ago you said ED was going to do NaNoWriMo but you did say YD and I heard ED. That is even better I am sure she will have a lot of fun and learn a lot as well.

Chain saw and not knowing how to use is NOT good in fallen tree removal. You learn to use a chain saw by cutting logs with safety rule number ONE, not climbing around in trees with a chain saw.

The tree trimmers must have to pay the city to be approved. That is the only reason I see for them to care unless they think it is a public safety issue. Where I live nobody cares who removes it as long as it gets gone fast. If it is in the street the city will remove it back past the sidewalk and the rest is your problem.

Around here, you get offers to cut it for you, just so they can get the wood for their fireplaces. Sometimes, it turns into a bit of race, really.

City came and took away a lot of stuff.

I’ll still need to get a guy with a cherry picker and a chainsaw in to fix up my poor maples.

Congratulations on your first self-published book! I hope it does great, but more than anything I’m just really curious to see what happens.

Also, I happen to be one of those few who found Quarter Share as an ebook first and only moved on to the audio when I couldn’t stand waiting any longer to continue to story. I happen to hate audio books so please take it as a big compliment that you got me to give it a chance. Now I just can’t stand audio books not read by you, heh. I’ve tried quite a few since discovering that there is at least one person I can listen to for hours at a time, but none have worked out.

I have to echo Tony. I too found you through Quarter Share do to Amazons algorthims of recommendation. I then was left with a hankering for more and dove into the podiobooks and loved them. They were in fact the fist audio books I’ve ever listened to…Thanks Nate and good luck with Ravenwood!!!

  4. Red Tash says:

Brrrrrr! Making me feel a little better about our weather, for sure. I’ll be freezing out on the soccer field sidelines first thing in the morning tomorrow.
