Yeah. Winds overnight kept the air mixed up and the temps left me no excuses this morning. I got out early and spent a lot of time nerding out over fountain pens and Railroad Tycoon 3.

I seem to recall owning a Vector ballpoint back in my Navy days in the 1980’s – – Parker actually had TV ads for them – – “It’s Vector from the private sector!” I bought a Vector fountain pen when I got into the fountain pen hobby – – that one disappeared. I’ve always loved the arrow-shaped pocket clip that identifies a Parker. Many other pen companies also have distinctive pocket clips – – Waterman, Pelikan and Recife are three I can name off the top of my head. Even the humble Lamy Safari can be distinguished by its wire pocket clip.
