Day 252: Ice, Ice, Baby

After yesterday’s snow, today we have 12F and ice everywhere. It’s a wonder I didn’t fall and break something.

At just about the end, the recorder gave up recording. I clipped out the sentence fragment just before it cut out, but I caught it before I turned the recording off so there’s a closer in there. One of those days.

Yesterday’s Word Count: 0
Yesterday’s Treadmill: 0 miles

  1. Tony says:

All of that talk about the main character needing to want something concrete in order for readers to identify with sounds like a lot of BS to me. It seems like most people don’t know what they want in their own life and could easily identify with someone else that is a little clueless.

  2. The talk of a main character who has to want something *concrete* for the audience to identify with them is a very dubious one alright. It immediately made me think of Mal in Firefly as a counter-example.

    Mal: We’re still flying.
    Simon: That’s not much.
    Mal: It’s enough.
