After yesterday’s snow, today we have 12F and ice everywhere. It’s a wonder I didn’t fall and break something.
At just about the end, the recorder gave up recording. I clipped out the sentence fragment just before it cut out, but I caught it before I turned the recording off so there’s a closer in there. One of those days.

All of that talk about the main character needing to want something concrete in order for readers to identify with sounds like a lot of BS to me. It seems like most people don’t know what they want in their own life and could easily identify with someone else that is a little clueless.
Yeah. That’s kinda my take on it, too, Tony.
It’s not something I’m gonna be worrying too much about.
Too many people focused on the destination, and not the journey.
The talk of a main character who has to want something *concrete* for the audience to identify with them is a very dubious one alright. It immediately made me think of Mal in Firefly as a counter-example.
