I vaguely remember Sullivan, but I don’t remember what the controversy was about. Was it a Kickstarter thing?
Once he got his deal with Orbit, he didn’t deliver the final book in his series. Fans had to buy the much more expensive Orbit edition that had been reformed as a trilogy – combining the book they already had with the one he’d promised them he’d deliver. His fans felt – rightfully – betrayed.
