Tara got me thinking about the advantanges to publishing South Coast right away, but in addition to getting royalties started flowing, South Coast would also serve as a sort of sequel to the first three Share series. And I think would appeal to everyone who’s gone through these first books.
*nods* It’s actually more of a prequel, but yeah – it’s in the same universe, giving us a slice of life on one particular company planet. A lot of people probably wouldn’t make the connection between Otto Kruge and Sarah Kruge – we really only know of it because of other discussions he’s had on the subject of Cape Grace.
It’s kinda like the forest that you can’t see on the cover of Ravenwood. *chuckles*. Still, that’s easily handled in the blurb of either book.
