Day 275: Happy New Year

Since I didn’t actually put out a podcast on the last 275, I repeated the number.

This one wasn’t free of technical difficulties either — it chopped out about 18 minutes in the middle. Since it was a long episode anyway, that still leaves a good bit of rambling for you to listen to.

Maybe you should just order the covers for South Coast and Cape Grace so you have them when they are needed. I suppose that would be an outlay of money with no return coming soon but there would be no delay when needed.

  2. John H says:

Maybe just shut the WYFI off at ten then only hardwired stuff will work. I assume the kids are all connected by WYFI. This will not effect the kindle of course.

  3. Anita Lewis says:

Happy New Year, Nathan! It sounds like a great move to do the walk later. If nothing else, it should be more pleasant for you.

  4. Patrick Phillips says:

For computer use time limits and if they are all windows systems activate the windows parental controls under user accounts , of course they all need password protected accounts at standard level you will be asked to windows live account as admin you will see all standard accounts turn on time limits and set the time up now if your kids have their own computers you or your wife should be the only admin on that computer

  5. Patrick Phillips says:

If your goal is to turn off all electronics at a certain time router access time would only turn off the internet but parental controls would turn off the computer till the following morning

  6. Laith says:

Ah the fun of braided nylon…
makes me remember the joys of rigging and splicing nylon lines with my grandmother when I was younger.
