Usually it’s sunrise. Today’s picture is so late in the day, you can see my shadow on the bottom left side.
Sheesh.
And yes, the last file I have uploaded is mile 520. I never noticed, but Tara sent me a note. I’m looking for the next 500 miles now. They’re here somewhere.

Thanks. I crossed up the files on rendering.
Uploading the corrected one now.
I actually enjoy sunsets more than sunrises.
In part, that’s because I’m a night owl – my normal body cycle, if left to itself, is to sleep from about 6am to noon.
And yet – the close of a day, all the work and busy-work done, and the sunset initiates the change to a more relaxed part of the day for me, when I can take the time to contemplate what the day held, and relax and enjoy myself.
You know, that may well be the thing I liked most about the Share stories – Ishmael didn’t get snowed under with bullshit busywork. If it needed doing – it got done. If nothing needed doing – nobody was inventing unnecessary crap jobs just to keep him busy.
Probably the most un-realistic part of the series, really. Even counting the gravity generators and the jump drive.
New maps coming when I get home on Tuesday. Until then, just keep on walking, Nate! 🙂
Thanks, Paulette.
No rush 🙂
