  1. Ignatz says:

Nate, it is really fine to see (hear) that you are finally making progress on getting “Double Share” out into the world. Good on you, sir!

  2. katherine says:

you could dedicate the book to your kids

  3. StephenK says:

Yeah. The kids. Especially after the whole dentist during spring break thing. You owe them! πŸ˜‰

  4. I was also going to suggest one or other of your daughters. πŸ™‚ Or both. But if you dedicate it to one of them, you could dedicate the next book to the other.

Alternatively, you could go for the easy out of “For all my fans who’ve stuck with me through the years!” or something, if you don’t think that’s too clichΓ© or too infused with hubris. =)

Perhaps people who’ve helped you with your writing over the years; such as the person you’ve referred to on your morning walks who for a long time was your first reader (if I recall correctly), and/or who kicked your butt to get the next chapters as a beta reader, etc.

  5. StephenK says:

How about to all the Stephens πŸ˜€

  6. katherine says:

Another thought, I can’t remember if you said you’d done a dedication to the podiobooks team or not, but they were definitely a contributing factor towards your success. I myself never would have found your books if it wasn’t for them.

  7. StephenK – Hah! πŸ™‚ That certainly gave me a laugh! Or “all the Irish Stephens” would be just as good. πŸ˜‰

  8. Laith says:

Your girls would indeed probably be a good one.

Or something like “all the people who for some strange reason find my writing enjoyable”… πŸ˜‰
That would certainly cover your bases.
