I set out early and enjoyed the extra coolness. I used a paper clip to try to restrain the mic cord. There’s a “whush-whush-whush” artifact near the end that I think is wind. Is this any better?

I’m glad you are enjoying the new phone. I got a small Android tablet finally and am loving it. I don’t do enough phone calling to warrant that expense, but I did see that device and wanted it with WiFi instead of phone. I settled for cheaper, but I’m happy with what I use it for.
I’m also happy to hear you are not going to spend the time and effort on submitting the podcast for award. I think you have some momentum going in writing and pointing your head and heart in that direction is going to pay off where it counts for you.
I just enrolled with Fantasy and Science Fiction: The Human Mind, Our Modern World, Prof. Eric Rabkin, University of Michigan, 10 weeks
https://www.coursera.org/course/fantasysf. I had fun with a CS 101 out of Stanford with coursera and this one also looks like fun. It made me think of you.
I’m taking a coursera on Algorithms right now (started yesterday) I’m thinking of joining that SF one also, maybe I can get my wife to take it also.
Yes, I signed up for the Algorithms, too. I haven’t looked at it yet.
I’ve downloaded most of the first week of videos and the ‘slides’, I was going to work on it on lunch yesterday and last night.
However life has been “interesting” the last few days and got capped with having to put down our cat last night. 🙁
Damn – sorry to hear about your furry family member!
Man, that’s always a hard thing.
Condolences.
The sound was good.
