Day 407: Happy Father’s Day

I wasn’t really thinking about Father’s Day today. I probably should have been.

My father’s been gone for seven years. Every once in a while it hits me that he’s not really gone as long as I remember.

The sound quality is so good you could almost record somthing like A Light In The Dark while out for a walk and most people would never know. LOL

    Ahhh, Nora Roberts.

I’ve actually read quite a few of hers – both her formula romances back when she was with Silhouette & Co, and when she moved on to become J. D. Robb with her homicide procedural/romance/sci-fi series based around Eve Dallas. It really would be interesting to see your analysis of why she is just so damned addictive as a writer (and so bleepin’ prolific!!!!)

What I would really like to know is why I love J D Robb and find Nora so-so sometimes. Hmmmm? Even the book she wrote half Nora and half J D, it was the 2nd J D part that rang with me. If she has a multiple personality, then so must I. Interesting juju.
