Sorry to hear about yesterday’s 9 to noon, but getting back in there today will get you back on track. As you say, even with yesterday taken in to account, you’ve still written more in the last few days than in the previous few weeks.
On the Audible thing, I actually think it might get you some new listeners. I’ve found a whole pile of authors that I had never heard of thanks to audible suggesting stuff to me (particularly the ‘people who liked this also read’). I think in some ways the credit system encourages browsing and impulse buying. I also know quite a few people who have audible but had never heard of podiobooks. As far as they’re concerned, if it’s not on audible, it doesn’t exist in audio. Of course, you know your business so that’s just my 2 cents. Also, I assume audible take a huge chunk of the sale so it probably isn’t worth the time or effort.
By the way, the free apps that I use for keeping track of my squats, etc are in the android market place and are by Rittr Labs (if you just search squats you’ll find it easily… yellow icon). There are a couple of issues with how soon they think you’ve reached the ability to do X number in one go but they are good for keeping track and gradually improving.
Think your site could take the bandwidth hit of posting the epsoides as you finish reading each one. Most likely not a good idea I just hate to wait until you complete the book.
