I would think the aerial shots of the various big wildfires would be enough fireworks for most people around there!
Seriously – people want fireworks, they should visit the Really Slick Screensavers page ( http://www.reallyslick.com/screensavers/ ) and download them. Hook your laptop up to the 60″ HD TV and enjoy the explosions!
Great reports on writing and your diet! I find I do much better when I log what I eat and see where the gaps are and what might be a better alternative for different foods. A great example is your putting those glasses of milk in where you might not have thought about it otherwise. I’m very happy for you on both accounts!
We make our own vinaigrette all the time. Easy and delicious. Can add a pinch or two of mustard (powder or Dijon, preferably Maille), or a drop or two or three of Sesame oil (dark, roasted) and ginger for an oriental flavor (green onions, etc in salad). So many ways to change the dressing that you will be hooked. Also, one of my favorites is salsa. Yes, I said salsa. It makes a fantastic salad dressing. You’ll see. It is a wonderful flavor. Ratatouille in the summer and the other wonderful veggies can’t be beat. Miss the tomatoes of Illinois and Indiana, though. Montana is not great for getting them ripe in time and grocery tomatoes are, well, grocery tomatoes. The farmers market does not have enough to go around. (See previous sentence) It is hit and miss. We try though. Anyway, good luck.
