Lot of clicks in today’s audio. I need to rethink this clip. Something has shifted and it’s taking a lot of work to edit out the worse of the and I’m sure there’s still a lot of them in there.

Some observations:
1) Your writing is your job. Taking time to do your job isn’t stealing time from your family, unless you’re working a lot of overtime.
2) That little house behind your house, the separate, heavily insulated one where you can write and record any time you please, is sounding better and better.
3) A source of good bread recipes can be found at the web site of King Arthur Flour Co. I also recommend their flours, although they may not be available out there. Their White Whole Wheat flour is great!
4) I keep reminding myself that patience is a virtue—but I’m very IMPATIENT to see the first words of Zypheria’s Call on my kindle!!
Thanks, Joyce. The little house behind my house? Hm. No, that wouldn’t be a place I could record any time. That level of insulation and engineering is something I wouldn’t be able to pull off (or even afford). Now, I might be able to rent something … but that’s got its own problems.
It’s coming. 🙂
Did you really say that listening to you is like watching a train wreck?! I got a good laugh out of that one! I’d say it’s like a ride through a fun house where you never know what is going to pop out at you. I listen to you on your morning walk, because I don’t know anyone else who is doing it and I can play Solitaire while I listen. Every now and then I say “Say what?!” and I click back a minute for a repeat listen.
About jogging: that is not the way to lose weight. It makes you go into a stage of exercise where fat burning doesn’t happen as well. Then there is what it does to your knees and your self-esteem. Weight training is also very good for working on weight loss in the long run. What you are doing is the best thing so far as I’ve seen in looking for my own solution.
A suggestion on the logging of food is that after a couple months you could log again for a short time just to keep yourself honest. You may not have the problem, but I experienced an increase in the amount I was eating after a while of not logging. It just sort of sneaked up on me.
I do a lot of the “Say What?” backtrack and learn something new. I’m usually taking my long walk with Nathan yacking in my ear. All people hear me say is “huh?” “No Kidding!” and “Say What?” or “Hmmmmmm” “wish I’d thought of that.”
