The covering I have on the mic slipped off and so we have a few artifacts in the first half. I clipped out a few of them but I wasn’t in the best of moods to begin with and I got impatient 🙂

Hope your day improves. It sounds as if you have a lot of demands on you that eat up time and energy, leaving frustration behind them. My advice, not that it’s worth much, is to get the book out. Those folks who have not yet returned their copy-edits are likely not going to. You’ve had several people helping and and I’m sure they, and you, have done a good job. Getting this book OUT will be a great accomplishment and a great weight off your shoulders. You’ve worked hard and have written a good book; now let go of it and reap the well-deserved rewards of your work.
