Oh man, I could TOTALLY see you living in a lighthouse somewhere, scribbling away, getting up to feed the fire once in a while, taking a walk along the moors when you need a break. (Ok, maybe that last bit was Wuthering Heights, but still.)
That’s it – forget the shed in the back yard. Build a lighthouse. You’d be the envy of the neighborhood! 😉
Well hang in there Sar. We all knew this was coming eventually, haven’t seen any web presence from your publ. since feb. and only really a blurb in june but nothing since. I would much rather order from you direct. We all have faith you’ll get it done.
When you objected that your life was so boring, I thought, “You mean nothing ever happens? Hm, I wonder. Nothing ever happens. Could that be engaging?” 😉
The answer of course is yes … and you’re crazy (saying your life was boring). You’ve already told a whole slew of amusing/entertaining stories from your past on the podcast. Just collect those and ones like them and you have a memoir. =)
I agree, it is amazing just how many interesting stories you will find without meaning to.
My dad still pulls out interesting stories or trivia about the family when we are talking and something reminds him.
In general life is interesting, if it wasn’t there would be no stories to begin with.
