Nate, you are sounding rested, healthy and chipper. Obviously this little bit of end-of-season R&R did you some good. More power to you along with warm wishes for a great year to come. Time for push back! 😉
Nate, I could swear you told us you signed, sealed, sent and got a response of your rights reverting to you from Ridan. What kind of shenanigans are they pulling now? Really.
So glad that you took this time off and rested. You sound wonderful! Hope you can do something like this for yourself and your family in between projects. Thanks for the words of wisdom regarding building community.
I learned while you were away that I’m a bit addicted to your morning walks and hearing the snow crunch under your feet while you talked put a big smile on my face.
Your comments about finding readers reminds me of a mantra I’ve been using for a while: “Nothing sells like a back catalog.” We’ll, that and “It takes 10 years to be an overnight success in this business.” If you only publish one work, getting readers is a full time job and then some. If you have several works out there and keep adding more, the readers tend to find you.
Of course, I’m just as guilty as most on not building my back catalog fast enough. That is one of my big goals for this year: finish and publish.

I remember you saying this, as well.
Ditto.

Glad to have you out walking again.
Doc
Welcome back.
It was great to hear your voice again.
And I agree you do sound much more rested and ready to hit the year running as it were.
Really great to hear you back out walking again. You were missed. Glad you got some quality down time in.
